Oregon Country Journal
The Society’s quarterly journal, Oregon Country, continually strives to present sound answers to implicit or explicit postal history questions, mostly inquiries into verifying events and conditions affecting the movements of the mail. It relies on the premise that the study of postal history is an intrinsically valuable undertaking. Research satisfies a natural curiosity. It promotes understanding and creates insights about collecting.

Research can be simple or complex in scope, informal or formal, and private or public. “Scholarly” research refers simply to using an orderly methodology, good supporting documentation, and developing informed conclusions. There is no secret formula for doing historical research, most anyone can do it or interpret it. And, you may find it addictive.
