PNWPHS
Pacific Northwest Postal History Society - APS Affiliate #147
The Pacific Northwest Postal History Society (PNWPHS) is committed to assisting in the study of postal history of the region encompassing Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana, from pre-territorial to the present day. PNWPHS strives to provide for a free and comfortable exchange of information and ideas.

We consider the purposeful grouping of historical artifacts and archival matter used to study a postal system an intrinsically valuable undertaking, Most postal history research involves answering questions -- inquiries into verifying historical events and conditions affecting the movements of the mail. Doing research promotes understanding and creates insights which can make members better-informed collectors. Members are encouraged to be open and inquisitive about the study of postal history.
Oregon Country Journal

PNWPHS publishes the award-winning quarterly journal Oregon Country that includes results of members’ research projects, both large and small in scope, which add to the postal historical record.
Annual Auction

A substantial annual auction offers members a chance to bid on consigned lots related to the region’s postal history. Items typically range from $1 to several hundred dollars.
